A prominent figure in our midst: Stefan Steinrode (42) will take over the post of director of operations with effect from 1 February 2018. He succeeds Karsten Niebers (67), who is retiring. Mr Steinrode will take control of the Finance, Personnel, IT and Production divisions, devoting himself to the New Work initiative in particular.
After graduating in banking and business administration, Mr Steinrode spent three years working for an international auditing firm. Switching to the agency sector in 2007, he performed a range of managerial roles for networks and owner-run agencies. For the past five years, he has worked for the BBDO Group as managing director with responsibility for the two digital businesses Proximity and Interone.
‘We are delighted to have Stefan Steinrode come on board. He is a well-respected expert in both finance and human resources,’ said Lars Lammers. ‘Having a digital background, he will play a key role in the development of Pahnke Markenmacherei.’
‘Helping to shape the future of Markenmacherei is a major undertaking,’ continued Stefan Steinrode. ‘For me, the multifaceted nature of New Work will be one of the most important elements in the continuing success story of the agency.’
Karsten Niebers, Mr Steinrode’s predecessor, had been the company’s director of finance since July 2004.
‘We would like to thank Karsten Niebers for his outstanding commitment and the passion he brought to his work for Markenmacherei,’ said Managing Director Martin Pahnke, who continues to provide personal support to key clients of the agency. It was he who actually found and employed Karsten Niebers at Markenmacherei 14 years ago. ‘We wish him good health and every happiness for a not-too-restful retirement!’
